On July 3rd, 2012 the world’s best Master Blender, Tito Cordero, starred in the first ever broadcast of “Maestro Live”. It is a live broadcast that arose from his desire to interact with bloggers, journalists and Premium Rum enthusiasts from around the world.
The program was broadcasted live from DUSA’s distillery in Venezuela, where Diplomático rums are produced, via the brand’s website: www.diplomaticorum.com. During the show, Tito Cordero endeavoured to answer a maximum amount of questions asked by the audience. They ranged from personal cocktail-mixing recommendations to an in-depth explanation of how pot still distillation works, a process that represents the very soul of Diplomático rums.
“I am very excited, this is a totally new experience, both for me and for this industry. I believe it was a total success, and I thank all those people who participated in this first edition of Maestro Live. I hope it was as entertaining for them as it was for me,” said Master Tito just moments after the broadcast.
