Two of the finalists of the 2015 Diplomático World Tournament (DWT), Milk Pailin from Thailand and Orlando Marzo from Australia, gathered in Bangkok to meet and share their experiences with participants of the next edition of the tournament in Thailand.
Milk Pailin, has become one of the most recognized bartenders in her country after her participation in the 2015 DWT, as well as other prestigious international tournaments in the industry. With the help of the Australian representative and second runner-up of the 2015 DWT, Orlando Marzo, they managed to bring together bartenders in Thailand that registered to participate in the third edition of the tournament. These participants showed great interest in the event, driven by the opportunity to learn and listen to the stories of these experienced bartenders.
During their meeting, which included organized group workshops, Orlando and Milk shared their experience of both the competition and their visit to Venezuela. It was also a good opportunity for them to share some tips and advices for the 2017 DWT. These activities took place in two iconic bars in Bangkok, the Rabbit Hole and Vesper, where a personalized cocktail menu for the evening was prepared by Orlando and Milk, which were enjoyed by both consumers and industry professionals.
This event gave greater visibility to DWT in the Thai market, through two major industry figures and allies of the brand; and at the same time strengthened the relationship of the brand with the bartender community of that country.
